Domestic Gas & Heating Engineer
Aylesford, Kent · Full-time, permanent · £40k basic + overtime, call-out & London uplift (OTE higher)
KBC Heating is an established heating and building services company based in Aylesford. We carry out pre-planned and reactive heating and plumbing works across domestic and commercial properties throughout Kent, with occasional London work (paid at an uplift). We’re a supportive team with a strong reputation for quality, and we invest in our people.
We’re looking for an experienced Domestic Gas & Heating Engineer to join us, working alongside our commercial engineers and handling the domestic side of our workload.
The package
- £40,000 basic, with overtime, call-out and London uplift taking your earnings higher

- Gas analysers supplied (you provide your own hand tools)
What you’ll need (essential)
- Current Domestic Gas Safe registration (12 months+ remaining), including CCN1 and relevant appliance categories
- At least 3 years’ experience in domestic heating and plumbing
- Experience across multiple manufacturers — boilers, warm air heaters, pumps and similar
- Pipework installation experience
- Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points)
- Confident, professional and customer-facing
- Open to an Enhanced DBS check
Nice to have
- Commercial gas experience (welcome, but not essential)
- LPG or oil experience
Experience needed across
- General plumbing and mechanical repairs
- Full installations
- Servicing, maintenance and repairs
The details
- Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
- Working both independently and as part of the team
- Permanent role with full, supported onboarding
