We have recently replaced a boiler at a NHS Hospital premises in Kent, completing the whole job in a single day.
The need for a new boiler came to light during the annual service. Our engineer found faults with the existing unit and, after weighing up the options, it was clear that replacement was more cost effective than continuing to repair it. Annual servicing is there to catch exactly this sort of problem, so decisions can be planned rather than made in an emergency.
The old boiler was swapped for a floor-standing Ideal Mexico. A floor-standing boiler sits on the floor rather than hanging on a wall, which is common in certain older buildings. We also changed the flue, which is the pipe that safely carries exhaust gases out of the building, and fitted a filter to help catch debris circulating in the heating system.
The boiler was then commissioned, meaning it was fully tested and set up to run correctly, and left safe to use. As a Gas Safe registered company, we make sure every installation meets the required standards. The new boiler also comes with a fresh warranty for peace of mind.
