We have completed a boiler replacement at a hotel in Canterbury, swapping the existing boilers in the basement plant area for new ones.
The job began with stripping out the old boilers and the pipework connected to them, which cleared the space for the new installation. Once the new boilers were in place, the wiring was completed and the flue was finished. The flue is the pipe that carries exhaust gases from the boilers safely out of the building, so it is an important part of any installation.
The last stage was filling and commissioning the system. Filling means charging the heating system with water. Commissioning means setting up and checking the boilers so they are ready for use. For hotels and other commercial buildings, a properly commissioned system is a key part of keeping heating and hot water dependable for guests and staff.
KBC Heating Services is Gas Safe registered, and all our gas work is carried out to that standard. If you are thinking about replacing commercial boilers, call 01622 729825 or get in touch online.
